Prospective dual enrollment students can contact their local WWCC Distance Education local Outreach site Coordinator for help testing for prerequisites and registering for courses. These Coordinators are prepared to register local students for this dual enrollment program. These contacts work directly with the high school advisors and students to ensure student success. Contact information can be found on our website at www.wwcc.wy.edu/dist_ed/outreach.htm. If students are outside of WWCC’s local area, they can contact the Distance Education office on campus for help and support, 307-382-1807.
If you wish to take a WWCC course and attend high school in the following 5 counties (Sweetwater, Lincoln, Uinta, Carbon or Sublette), go to the WyCLASS site at http://wyclass.wy.edu/. This site lists courses from all 7 community colleges, so be sure to look at only the WWCC courses first. Then contact your local WWCC representative to determine availability of the courses. WWCC representatives are listed on this website, http://www.wwcc.wy.edu/dist_ed/outreach.htm.
If you want to take a WWCC course but live in another county, contact the community college that serves your county first. If they cannot provide this course, we can have a collaborative agreement to facilitate enrollment. That community college can contact Western Wyoming CC to facilitate this process.
