Instructors must meet the same qualifications as those who teach campus courses. At a minimum, they must have a master's degree and in the case of transfer classes, the instructor must have a master's degree plus 18 hours. In addition, they must have a WebCT or MoodIe course. In addition, Casper College supports distance learning instructors by providing professional development opportunities. During the FY 2007-2008, CC instructors attended three conferences: TELECOOP Conference in Breckinridge, Colorado; Moodle Moot in San Francisco, California; and WYDEC in Cheyenne. Students have the opportunity to evaluate their instructors. These evaluations are reviewed by the instructor, the department chair, and the VP of Academic Affairs. Results are used as part of the course/faculty assessment.
